Bitget registered as a financial services provider on the Financial Services Providers Register (FSPR) of New Zealand, as announced by the exchange on its portal. The registration allows the platform to offer in the country a range of services including currency exchange, domestic and international transfers, client asset custody, and portfolio and money management.

As part of the process of integration into New Zealand’s regulatory framework, Bitget also joined the dispute resolution scheme of the New Zealand Insurance and Financial Services Ombudsman (IFSO), an independent mechanism that allows customers to escalate complaints to an external body outside the platform.
