I decided to try something different with the Hammer Miner — solo mining a Scrypt coin that almost nobody is mining. Instead of Dogecoin or Litecoin, I searched MiningPoolStats for a completely forgotten Scrypt coin and pointed the Hammer Miner at it just to see one thing: could I hit blocks? And surprisingly… I did. In this video, I show: • The exact coin I solo mined (E-Golden / EFL) • Block hits and payouts on a solo pool • Why the “block found” message didn’t appear • Real-world profitability results (spoiler: pennies) • Hammer Miner power usage and efficiency • Full overclocking test and wall power measurements • Why the pre-production fan draws so much power • What I’d change for better overclocking in the future This was purely an experiment and for fun — not financial advice and not a mining recommendation. 🔥 Helium Deploy currently has a 2-for-1 deal on the Hammer Miner 👉 Link below if you want to check it out Let me know in the comments: Would YOU try solo mining a forgotten coin just for fun?
