In every bull market, the top arrives only when RSI shoots above 80 and the charts turn red with greed. That hasn’t happened yet in this cycle. Which means the final wave, the true Fomo phase, is still ahead, likely starting in the months to come. That’s the latest projection from PlanB, the famous Bitcoin analyst who created the Stock to Flow Model. What PlanB is measuring is market heat. RSI, a momentum indicator, flags when buyers overwhelm sellers. In past peaks like 2013, 2017, and 2021, Bitcoin’s weekly RSI pushed into the 80’s, which on PlanB’s color-mapped chart shows up as red “greed” dots. Today, weekly RSI hasn’t reached that zone, so his view is that the cycle hasn’t entered its euphoric blow-off. By this framework, the sequence is simple: fear cools, optimism builds, greed spikes, then the crash follows. If the red phase appears next, expect rapid upside, heavier retail participation, and sharper volatility before a top forms.
