He says none of the shifting objectives have been achieved: Iran has not collapsed, the missiles are not exhausted, the regime has consolidated, and 35% of global fertiliser supply is now offline, which he calls the green revolution in reverse. Macgregor warns that even if the war ended tomorrow, it would take 2 to 3 years for production to return to pre-war levels, and if destruction continues, 5 to 10 years. He reveals that the US may have to ration petroleum domestically and stop exports entirely, that European diesel trucks cannot run on standard fuel because their catalytic converters require urea from the Gulf, and that China has banned exports of petroleum products and rare earths to protect its own supply. He predicts a massive air and missile campaign beginning Monday designed to destroy the Iranian state and cause the disintegration of its society, and says it will not work because Iran's 500 to 1,000 mile strike zone, d to Chinese and Russian satellites, cannot be defeated without attacking those satellites directly.
