KuCoin Surpasses 45 Million Users as Anniversary Report Details Expansion Across AI, Payments and Trust Initiatives

KuCoin has exceeded 45 million registered users worldwide, according to its newly released 2026 H1 Review, Beyond the Signal, published to coincide with the exchange's ninth anniversary. The report outlines developments across security, payments, artificial intelligence, institutional services and Web3 infrastructure during the first half of the year.

The review comes as the digital asset industry continues to broaden beyond trading into areas including payments, tokenized financial products and AI-powered services. KuCoin's report examines how the platform has evolved over the past nine years, with a focus on trust, transparency and expanding real-world applications for digital assets.

According to the report, KuCoin now supports more than 1,600 digital assets and has grown its global user base to over 45 million. User adoption accelerated in several emerging markets during the first half of 2026, with growth of 170% in Latin America and 30% in Africa. The company also referenced third-party research that ranked KuCoin among the world's top three exchanges for spot market share and Bitcoin spot market depth.
