Licensed Crypto Sportsbooks Compared for 2026

A gaming licence tells a player three things: that a named legal entity stands behind the brand, that its terms are published, and that an authority exists which can act if the operator breaks them. Which authority issued it matters, and comparisons rarely say so.
Crypto sportsbooks hold licences across a spread of jurisdictions. Curacao and Anjouan are the most common among crypto-first platforms, while Malta, the Isle of Man, Estonia and Kahnawake license operators elsewhere in the market.
The obligations attached to each differ considerably, as does the recourse a player ends up with.
Five platforms are ranked below on how much of their licensing a bettor can confirm without taking the operator's word for it. One well-known name is excluded, for a reason worth naming.
Curacao Rebuilt Its Regime, and Anjouan Did Not
Under the old Curacao model, an operator bought a sublicence from one of a handful of master licence holders, and oversight was largely nominal.
The National Ordinance on Games of Chance ended that arrangement when it came into force in December 2024, and the legacy sublicences expired the following month.
