Robinhood CEO Vlad Tenev’s X Account Hacked to Promote Fake ‘Vladhood’ Token

The official X account of Vlad Tenev, CEO of Robinhood, fell victim to a lightning cyberattack aimed at spreading a crypto scam. According to the platform’s communications team, unknown attackers took control of the verified profile to promote a fraudulent token named Vladhood ($VLAD). The fake post deceptively claimed that the token was the “official mascot” of the new Robinhood Chain network and that it would be listed on the mobile app. The company confirmed that the post was deleted after securing access to the account.
