This is one of the most common questions we get from folks related to the ETF (Exchange Traded Fund) discussion. The nature of the market, retail and commercial look for the best buying opportunity for Bitcoin. This can be through exchange order books, ETF, Proxy Exposure such as GBTC, OTC Desk Buying and/or Mining Directly to Earn. The order desk work with large capital bitcoin holders and help facilitate opportunities to buy tranches of Bitcoin from legacy holders for a fixed amount for the lot, saving the downside market slippage risk and a non-market effecting point to point purchase. These do not hit the exchanges causing a huge price swing and allow for the market to speculate on the meaning. Mining at this stage is around 450BTC per day and far exceeds daily transactional volume. Over time these OTC desk will run out of supply and miner inflation will be the last bit of growth for a bit.
