In an insightful interview with Inteligência Financeira, Billionaire and Bitcoin enthusiast Michael Saylor discussed what he sees coming with the transition into a digital monetary system and what he believes makes an individual a financially smart person. Even with the approval of the ETF and many other corporations opening their perspective on Bitcoin, Saylor believes we are still early in the adoption process and it can take a generation. Saylor likened Bitcoin to electricity. Although our world cannot live without electricity, there was a time when the thought of electricity was not well received. According to Saylor, it took a generation for electricity to be universally accepted as a way of life and now, its the foundation of our society. Saylor believes by the next generation, Bitcoin will be so mainstream and universally accepted, it will be the foundation in our society, similar to Google, Facebook, and Amazon. Saylor also went on to explain what he believes makes an intelligent investor. Saylor highlighted some key concepts; inflation, understanding what money really is, understanding credit versus money, property and risk.
