A makeshift Gaza trading tent has stunned the crypto community. The video shows a full desk of screens and price charts, set up in the rubble of war.

For many traders, the point was obvious. If someone can trade from a tent in a war zone, a bad market day is no excuse.

The scene is not new. Gazans were trading crypto for money long before the war. Sky-high youth unemployment pushed many online to try.

"Many graduates apply for any available job because circumstances push them to seek income rather than wait for a job related to their specialization," one local told Al Jazeera.
