American Bitcoin reports a $57.2 million net loss for Q2 2026

The Trump-backed Bitcoin treasury and mining American Bitcoin (ABTC) ended Q2 2026 at a loss, despite better results than in the previous quarter.

The company posted a net loss of $57.2 million in the three months to June 30, down from roughly $82 million reported in Q1.

American Bitcoin generated $67.0 million in mining revenue in Q2, approximately 8% increase from $62.1 million in the previous quarter.

American Bitcoin reports 14% increase in Bitcoin treasury

Its operating loss was $74.1 million, with the largest being the loss on digital assets, which was reported to be $71.1 million.

American Bitcoin’s CEO Mike Ho pointed to Bitcoin’s market performance as a factor behind the quarter’s loss. The price of Bitcoin fell about 11% in the three months of the quarter.

“Despite Bitcoin headwinds in Q2, we stayed focused on what we can control,” Ho said.

American Bitcoin increased its Bitcoin holdings to over 8,000 in the quarter, up 14% from the 7,021 BTC reported in Q1.

The company’s mining production also increased to 932 BTC, from 817 BTC in Q1 2026, marking its highest quarterly production on record.
