BTCPay Issues Urgent Warning as Actively Exploited Vulnerability Puts Bitcoin Funds at Risk
The BTCPay Server team posted an urgent statement on their X account after detecting a critical vulnerability that is being actively exploited in its software. The platform warned that users’ funds could be at risk and requested the entire community to update their servers to version 2.4.2 as soon as possible. If unable to apply the patch immediately, the team recommended turning off the server to prevent unauthorized access.
