Coldcard Firmware Update Strengthens Seed Generation Security

Coinkite has released new Coldcard firmware to strengthen seed phrase security following a vulnerability that exposed some older wallets to brute-force attacks. The update adds stronger entropy requirements and other security safeguards, but users with previously generated vulnerable seeds must create new wallets and transfer their Bitcoin.
