CZ Warns Bitcoin Scarcity Could Put Full Coins Out of Millionaires’ Reach

Bitcoin’s limited supply could make it increasingly difficult for even millionaires to own a full coin as more of the existing supply becomes unavailable, Binance founder Changpeng Zhao said.
Zhao pointed to Bitcoin’s fixed 21 million-coin supply and the amount already mined. He also noted that some coins may be permanently inaccessible because their owners lost their private keys.
Bitcoin Scarcity Gains Attention
More than 20.07 million Bitcoin were in circulation by August 2026, leaving about 4.4% of the maximum supply still to be mined.
