Ripple invests undisclosed sums in two British firms, ZILO and Licuido

Ripple has tapped two UK-based companies to expand its capital markets infrastructure.
The company announced Monday that it made strategic investments in ZILO and Licuido.
The financial terms were not disclosed. However, Ripple said the investment builds on already-existing partnerships with the companies.
Ripple invests in ZILO and Licuido
ZILO provides transfer agency and fund administration technology for managing tokenized assets, while Licuido handles issuance, distribution, and execution of traditional assets as digital collateral.
The deal with both companies will see Ripple harness these capabilities to bring regulated transfer agency, issuance, and collateral mobility to capital markets on XRPL.
Deepening our push into capital markets, we are investing in ZILO and Licuido to add regulated transfer agency, issuance and collateral mobility to our capital markets infrastructure built on the XRPL. This comes on the heels of Aviva Investors tokenising its US Dollar Liquidityโฆ
