Strive Purchases 1,110 Bitcoin in a Week, Holdings Top 21,000 BTC as Shares Surge 11%

A cryptocurrency treasury company is adding more than a thousand Bitcoin (BTC) to its holdings in a single week, pushing its total past 21,000 coins.
Strive (ASST) purchased 1,110 Bitcoin between August 17th and August 21st at an average price of approximately $73,409 each, inclusive of fees and expenses.
The company’s total Bitcoin holdings increased to 21,356 coins, up from 20,246 the prior week.
The total cost came to roughly $81.5 million.
Strive says in its regulatory filing that cash and cash equivalents rose to $171.9 million while fair value of other holdings also increased slightly.
The Bitcoin acquisition aligns with the company’s ongoing treasury strategy of steadily building reserves.
Shares of the company rose 11% following the news. Strive is trading for $20.14 at time of writing, up more than 33% year-to-date.
