Wyoming Boosts Chainlink Integration For Significant Onchain Checks On FRNT Reserves

TL;DR
- Wyoming adopted Chainlink Proof of Reserve to provide near-real-time, onchain verification of reserves backing FRNT after migrating cross-chain infrastructure to CCIP.
- The Network Firm will examine reserves and token supply under AICPA standards, while verified reserve data becomes available directly onchain.
- Wyoming is also adopting Secure Mint, which would require verified reserves to equal or exceed FRNT supply before new tokens can be issued, helping prevent unbacked minting in circulation.
Wyoming is expanding its Chainlink integration to add near-real-time, onchain verification of reserves backing the Frontier Stable Token, or FRNT, the state’s official stable token. The Wyoming Stable Token Commission adopted Chainlink Proof of Reserve after migrating FRNT from LayerZero to Chainlink’s Cross-Chain Interoperability Protocol in August. The significant change is that reserve transparency will move beyond periodic reporting toward automated verification available directly onchain. Wyoming says the system builds on transparency standards it already maintains while giving regulators, institutions and market participants more continuous visibility into the assets supporting FRNT.
