The figure was reported by Galaxy Research, which placed that session among the most active since the network began operating in 2009. The firm noted that the total surpassed 99% of all daily readings recorded to date, though it did not identify a specific event, protocol, or group of users as responsible for the increase.
YCharts recorded the same figure and documented a 23.4% increase compared to the 723,854 transactions from the previous day. Against the 441,035 operations on the same day in 2025, activity more than doubled, with an approximate rise of 102.6%.
