Bitcoin futures open interest recorded an 18.66% increase over the past 24 hours, according to the data shared from Coinalyze. The move brought total open interest across the tracked Bitcoin contracts to about $24.7 billion.
The data showed a clear difference between futures and perpetual contracts. Futures open interest stood at about $1.3 billion and posted a 18.66% daily increase. Perpetual contracts, which accounted for about $23.4 billion, recorded a 1.44% decline over the same period. Overall open interest was down 0.57%.
