Bitget and BlackRock Discuss Tokenized ETF Distribution Across Asia

Bitget CEO Gracy Chen said on September 3 that the exchange was in close communication with BlackRock over distributing tokenized exchange-traded funds and other digital-asset products in Asian markets.

The discussions could give Bitget a route into conventional investment-product distribution through its tokenized-equity infrastructure and regional user base. Bitget says that infrastructure can support on-chain representations of equities and ETFs, and its pitch reflects an overlap between crypto users and stock investors.

CoinDesk reported that the contact forms part of Bitget’s outreach to Wall Street firms as it pursues a larger role in product distribution. No signed agreement has been announced by either company.

No announced deal

BlackRock confirmed to CoinDesk that its crypto exchange-traded products are already available in Asia and said it regularly engages with virtual-asset service providers. The asset manager declined to comment on specific expansion plans involving Bitget.

Against that response, Bitget CEO Gracy Chen’s statement describes close communication with BlackRock about distributing tokenized ETFs and other digital-asset products in Asian markets.
