The Cardano network achieved a strategic milestone by natively incorporating into the official codebase of the x402 open payment protocol, as confirmed by ecosystem developers. The integration, led by engineers affiliated with the Cardano Foundation, adds comprehensive support for client, server, and facilitator components across both the mainnet and test environments.
