The move came alongside eight straight days of inflows into U.S. spot Bitcoin ETFs, totaling $2.8 billion. August has now seen over $3 billion in ETF inflows, making it the strongest month of 2026 so far.
Solana was the standout performer among major cryptocurrencies, rising more than 4% on the day to just under $101. Over the past seven days, Solana is up 20%. Ether climbed just over 1% to around $2,492, XRP gained nearly 2% to about $1.43, and BNB rose over 1% to near $714.
