Gen Z investors are showing a more measured approach to equities than their reputation suggests, according to Binance Research. The data indicates that younger users buy more than they sell, trade less frequently than older working-age cohorts and largely avoid leveraged products.

That behavior is visible across Binance’s direct-equity, bStocks and TradFi Perps products. Among Gen Z bStocks accounts, 76% are net accumulators, the highest share among the generations measured. In direct equities, 22% have never placed a sell order. Binance also reports that Gen Z bStocks users average three trades per month, the lowest trading frequency of any cohort.
