Shiba Inu Network Metrics Plunge as Shibariumscan Faces Major Indexing Issue

- Shibariumscan showed sharp declines in transactions, addresses, and blocks after a recent indexing disruption.
- The decline appears linked to indexing problems rather than lost Shibarium blockchain data.
- Shibariumscan remains partially indexed, with metrics expected to recover as synchronization continues.
Shiba Inu holders faced confusion after Shibariumscan showed a sudden metric collapse. The explorer appeared to lose more than one billion recorded transactions. Addresses and blocks also dropped sharply across the displayed statistics. Such figures naturally raised questions about Shibarium's network health. However, the blockchain itself does not appear to have lost data. The sharp declines instead point toward an ongoing explorer indexing problem. Shibariumscan continues rebuilding historical data following a recent service disruption.
Shibariumscan Shows Dramatic Metric Declines
Shibariumscan reported 1.56 billion transactions on August 10, 2026. The explorer also showed around 269.93 million addresses across the network. Shibarium had processed those transactions since launching in August 2023. The explorer also recorded roughly 18.47 million blocks during that period. Those figures changed sharply after Shibariumscan experienced an outage. The explorer later showed only 475.39 million transactions.
