Stripe’s Bridge Enters EU MiCA Register After Luxembourg Approval

ESMA’s interim MiCA register lists Bridge Building S.A., commercially known as Bridge, as an authorised crypto-asset service provider in Luxembourg. The record names Luxembourg’s Commission de Surveillance du Secteur Financier as the competent authority and shows an authorisation notification date of June 29, putting Stripe-owned Bridge inside the EU’s formal MiCA service-provider framework.

The registration covers custody and administration of crypto-assets, exchange between crypto and funds, crypto-to-crypto exchange, execution of client orders and crypto-asset transfer services. Bridge is also listed for cross-border activity across multiple European jurisdictions, making Luxembourg authorisation a passport for a broad payments and digital-asset service footprint under MiCA.

ESMA says its interim register is built from information supplied by national competent authorities and is updated regularly. The listing therefore reflects Bridge’s authorised status rather than approval by ESMA itself, while the next operational test is how the licence translates into regulated European product expansion across Stripe’s stablecoin infrastructure.
