Arbitrum Jumps 26% While Bitcoin and Ethereum Fall - Robinhood Is the Reason

Arbitrum price gained 26% over 24 hours, trading near $0.1101 on Tuesday. Bitcoin (BTC) and ether slipped over the same stretch, leaving the layer 2 token to rally against a falling market.

The move followed record activity on Robinhood Chain, a network built with Arbitrum Orbit technology that sends part of its revenue back to the Arbitrum ecosystem.

Robinhood Chain Revenue Explains the Arbitrum Price Move

Robinhood Chain booked $2.13 million in chain fees over 24 hours, according to DefiLlama. Chain revenue reached $1.92 million, while decentralized exchange (DEX) volume hit $1.462 billion.

Arbitrum One collected roughly $16,000 in chain fees over the same window. The Robinhood network now out-earns the chain it forked from.

Under the Arbitrum Expansion Program, Orbit chains route 8% of net revenue to the ArbitrumDAO treasury and 2% to a developer guild. Therefore, ARB holders hold a claim on fees earned outside Arbitrum One.

Arbitrum Price Analysis Shows Resistance at $0.1193

ARB broke out of a six-week range between $0.075 and $0.100 on the daily chart. However, the rally stalled at the 0.618 Fibonacci retracement near $0.1193.
