Cathie Woodโs ARK Invest has been reshaping its portfolio this week, selling off millions in technology stocks while picking up new positions in biotech and AI chips.
The biggest move came Wednesday when ARK sold 37,977 shares of Advanced Micro Devices, worth around $18.1 million. AMD shares closed down 0.9% at $476.67 that day.

This sale is part of a longer trend. Wood has been cutting ARKโs stake in AMD over recent months, even as the stock more than doubled this year.
To replace that AI chip exposure, ARK bought 57,705 shares of Broadcom and 69,585 shares of Cerebras Systems on the same day. Broadcom closed up 4.5% at $371.54, while Cerebras rose 2.5% to $186.67.
