Mexico Uncovers Hidden Crypto Mine in Remote Puebla Mountains
Mexican authorities uncovered a suspected illegal cryptocurrency mining operation hidden in the mountains of Tlaola, Puebla. Investigators found 300 GPUs, 80 medium-voltage terminals and eight satellite antennas, while the site is being examined over possible links to illicit finance and electricity theft.

Mexicoโs federal attorneyโs office declined to comment because the investigation remains active. Authorities are also working with neighboring states to determine whether more hidden mining operations exist, making the scope of the network and the source of its financing the main questions still unresolved.
