MoonPay Lets AI Agents Handle Crypto Lending on Solana Through Kamino

MoonPay integrated the Kamino protocol into its PayBox vault. With this integration, AI agents such as ChatGPT and Claude will be able to manage crypto lending on Solana through natural language conversations. This feature enables users to lend assets, take out loans against digital collateral, and generate yields directly from AI platforms.

The initiative represents a crucial step toward agentic finance, where virtual assistants transition from providing information to executing complex on-chain financial transactions. To ensure operational security, PayBox implements threshold cryptography and secure enclaves, avoiding private key exposure and offering controls ranging from mandatory passkey approval to autonomous execution within predefined limits.

The Kamino plugin is now available to eligible PayBox users, albeit with initial geographic restrictions in jurisdictions such as the US, the UK, the European Union, and Australia. As the DeFi ecosystem evolves, integrating liquidity protocols with conversational interfaces promises to transform how users interact with decentralized markets.
