GTA 6 Still Has No PC Release – That Could Create a Second Creator Gold Rush
Grand Theft Auto VI is coming on November 19, 2026, but one of the biggest gaming audiences in the world is still missing from Rockstar’s launch plans.
Rockstar’s current GTA 6 platform information lists PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S. There is no official PC release date, no PC pre-order, and no promise from Rockstar about when a PC version will arrive.
That has created an obvious question — will GTA 6 be on PC? — but the more interesting issue may be what a delayed PC launch would do to the creator economy around the game.
If Rockstar eventually repeats the pattern it used with earlier releases, GTA 6 may effectively receive two major launches: one for consoles and another when PC players finally get access. For creators, that second wave could be enormous.
Officially, GTA 6 is Console-Only at Launch
The important part is separating what Rockstar has announced from what people assume. Rockstar says GTA 6 will launch on PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S. Those are the versions currently available for pre-order. PC is not listed.
