DoubleZero Adds Kalshi Election Markets as Midterm Betting Heats Up
DoubleZero Foundation announced this Wednesday the integration of Kalshiโs election and political markets into its DoubleZero Edge service. According to Andy Ross, Institutional Director at Kalshi, this partnership enables firms and financial institutions to incorporate real-time predictive insights directly into their operational workflows to assess risks and adjust portfolios.
This addition comes amid a surge in prediction markets, whose volume and institutional interest have surpassed levels seen in previous election cycles, with tens of millions of dollars traded across major US legislative races. Bringing this data to institutional terminals establishes event contracts as key quantitative tools against macroeconomic and regulatory volatility.
With the midterm elections set for November 3, DoubleZero plans to expand coverage of these political assets to more institutional market participants.
