The move followed a regulatory filing showing Christopher Cox, Meta’s Chief Product Officer, sold 20,000 shares on September 9 for approximately $13 million. The transactions were carried out under a Rule 10b5-1 trading plan Cox adopted back in May 2026.
Cox sold 18,578 shares at a weighted average of $650.21 and another 1,422 shares at $651.15. After the sales, he still holds 244,516 shares through a revocable trust and 55,046 through an irrevocable remainder trust.
