Hyperliquid’s native token HYPE surged more than 19% on Wednesday after President Donald Trump said the CFTC is working to bring the decentralized perpetual futures exchange to the United States.
Trump made the comments at a White House meeting with crypto and technology executives. “I understand that Mike is also working to bring Hyperliquid into the United States in a fully compliant and legal fashion, working very hard on that,” Trump said, referring to CFTC Chair Mike Selig.
