Stellar Launches Ambassador Program for Ecosystem Growth
The Stellar Development Foundation officially launched the Stellar Ambassador Program, a global program structured in four tiers designed to support developers, educators, and community leaders at different stages of growth within the ecosystem.
The program responds to a specific need: traditional support schemes treat a developer who discovers the network at a local workshop the same way they treat a team preparing to raise capital, even though their needs are entirely different. The progressive structure aims to correct that mismatch.
The four tiers are Explorer, Contributor, Builder, and Ecosystem Leader. Each one unlocks specific resources based on the participant’s progress. Builders, for example, can access Instawards, grants of up to $15,000 designed to fund experimentation and prototypes. Eligible projects can then advance to the Stellar Community Fund Build Award, where funding of up to $150,000 in XLM is available to take validated concepts through to mainnet launch.
The program is already active in Africa, Asia, and Latin America, with the goal of building the new global financial system from local communities.
