Alphabet’s Google stock (NASDAQ: GOOG) opened Wednesday’s trading bell at $332. The search giant surged by 1.85% the previous day, rising from a low of $324. GOOG has been sending mixed signals for a month, as the stock’s value has seen fewer ups but many downs. Traders remain skeptical about taking an entry position due to the volatile nature of the equity. Investors are cautious on the equity, as it has generated negative returns for a month.

Truist Financial Provides New Price Target For Google Stock: Prediction
Youssef Squali, Truist Financial’s Global Head of Internet and Media Equity Research, maintained his buy rating on Google stock. He wrote in a note to clients sent on Tuesday (July 29, 2026) that GOOG could reclaim the $400 milestone. It reached $408 in mid-May ahead of the Q1 earnings call but never managed to hold steady thereon. It’s been two months since the search giant has been on the back foot.
