LG Electronics and NVIDIA signed a memorandum of understanding on August 13 at NVIDIA’s headquarters in Santa Clara, California. The deal focuses on speeding up the commercialization of robotics using physical AI technology.
Just days later, senior NVIDIA officials visited LG’s Yangjae R&D Campus in Seoul to check on progress at the company’s Data Factory, which is currently under construction.
The Data Factory spans four floors and covers 10,000 square meters. It is scheduled to be fully operational by the end of the year and will house several hundred robots.
