Mantle, the open financial network focused on connecting traders with institutional-grade capital market assets, announced the integration of USDG, the stablecoin issued by Paxos, as one of the first assets natively minted on its network. The move makes Mantle a Network Partner of the Global Dollar Network (GDN), which groups more than 150 partners and surpasses $3.5 billion in USDG in circulation.
Most stablecoin integrations follow a standard model: a network adds an asset, the issuer retains the economics, and the relationship ends there. Mantle’s incorporation into the GDN works differently. As a Network Participant, the network becomes part of the GDN’s reward distribution system alongside partners such as Robinhood and Kraken, participating directly in the growth generated by the token’s adoption.
