Request Network Launches Gasless USDT Payments on TRON

Request Network said that it launched gasless USDT payments on TRON, allowing users to send the stablecoin through its protocol without holding TRX. The service automatically covers the network fee, making USDT-only wallets sufficient for completing TRON payments.

Previously, users had to buy TRX, transfer it to their wallet and then execute the USDT payment, adding friction that could lead to abandoned transactions. Request Network now includes the gas cost inside its own transaction fee, while a single bundled charge replaces the separate token-acquisition step.

The feature is available for all USDT payments made through the Request Network protocol, with transaction fees starting at $3.99. Request Network said more than $2 billion has moved through its technology to date, leaving the next test in whether gas abstraction can translate simpler payment execution into broader business and individual adoption.
