President Trump Urges FCC to Investigate Media Polls and Target NBC’s Kristen Welker

President Trump is urging the Federal Communications Commission to investigate what he describes as fake polls by news outlets and to rebuke NBC moderator Kristen Welker for her reporting on his candidate endorsements.

Trump issued the demands through multiple Truth Social posts.

Because of this purposeful inaccuracy, she will be reported to the FCC for rebuke or punishment.”

Recent polls place Trump’s approval rating at its lowest level across both terms in office as the Iran conflict drags on and gas prices stay elevated.

The FCC lacks authority over cable networks, print outlets or independent polling organizations, limiting any potential response to broadcast licensing matters.
