S&P 500 Witnessing One of the Best Decades in History, Soars Over 140% in Seven Years

The S&P 500 (SPX) is in the midst of a raging bull run as the index more than doubles its value in less than 10 years.
Data from the Kobeissi Letter shows that the S&P 500 is on track to shatter the record seen during the post-war boom by the end of this decade.
โUS stocks are having one of their best decades in history: The S&P 500 has gained +141.0% so far since the end of 2019. If this pace continues, the index will finish the decade with a cumulative gain of roughly +277%.
This would rank as the 2nd-best decade on record, trailing only the +316% return posted during the 1989-1999 Dot-Com Boom. This would also surpass the +257% gain seen during the postwar boom decade of 1949-1959. By comparison, between 2010 and 2020, the S&P 500 returned +190% following the 2008 Financial Crisis.
The 2020s are shaping up to be one of the greatest decades in US equity market history.โ
The Kobeissi Letter also says it is keeping a close watch on gold and silver, assets that are soaring after the US Treasury Department announced Treasury buybacks.
