SHIB Veteran Slams Significant ‘Reconstruction’ Claims, Calling Them Fake
A rumor about an alleged project reset of SHIB stirred controversy within the community over the past few hours, but was quickly debunked by veteran figures of the ecosystem.
The X user known as RuggRat claimed that the network could be “starting from scratch”, sharing details of a proposal that would involve abandoning the existing roadmap, migrating to a different blockchain, rebuilding ShibaSwap under a new platform and reconsidering the role of tokens such as BONE, LEASH and TREAT, setting aside Shibarium and the integration with Zama.

The community’s response was unequivocal. Mazrael, a veteran member of the ecosystem and advisor to Shiba Eternity, directly rejected the claims by replying to RuggRat’s post: “How funny that you keep this up knowing it’s false.“
Mazrael identified those responsible for the rumor as the same actors who had previously posted false migration alerts in Telegram channels of the network, after silencing and banning legitimate developers.
