SoFi’s Revenue Soars 43% in Q2 as Lending Business Reaches Record High
Fintech platform SoFi Technologies presented its financial results for the second quarter of 2026, reaching a record $1.2 billion in net revenue, a 43% year-over-year increase. The official announcement from the firm, led by CEO Anthony Noto, indicates that net profits rose 61% to exceed $156 million, while total users grew 35% to reach 15.8 million. This historic performance was backed by a rapid surge in the adoption of its digital asset and lending services.
The strong growth reflects SoFi’s consolidation as an “everything app” within the financial ecosystem. A key pillar during the quarter was the expansion of its crypto business, exceeding 388,000 active products, leveraged by the launch of its native stablecoin, SoFiUSD, which it already uses internally to settle transactions. Additionally, the firm launched Big Business Banking, a regulated platform fusing traditional banking and crypto for institutional clients such as Mastercard, BitGo, Fireblocks, and Wintermute, integrated into its real-time payment network, SoFi Exchange Network.
