Strive Adds 469 Bitcoin, Lifting Treasury to 25,000 BTC
Strive said in a September 14 SEC filing that it purchased 469 bitcoin between September 8 and September 11 at an average price of about $77,954 per BTC, including fees and expenses. The acquisition lifted the company’s holdings from 24,531 BTC to 25,000 BTC, with the latest purchase taking Strive’s treasury to a round 25,000-bitcoin position.
The filing also showed Strive held $204.2 million in cash and cash equivalents as of September 11, up from $202.6 million a week earlier. It continued to hold 505,000 shares of Strategy’s Variable Rate Series A Perpetual Stretch Preferred Stock, valued at about $49.8 million, while its bitcoin balance increased by exactly 469 BTC during the period.
Strive did not announce another bitcoin purchase in the filing, leaving future treasury additions as the key point to watch. The company also highlighted risks tied to its bitcoin treasury strategy and its pending merger with Semler Scientific, meaning the next update will depend on further capital deployment, treasury activity or merger-related disclosures.
