Tesla (TSLA) is gearing up to put its Cybercab robotaxi on public roads in Austin, Texas, potentially before the end of August, according to reports from The Information.

The company has told employees it plans to first offer rides to staff on public roads, then roll the vehicles into its wider Robotaxi service in the city within days of that initial launch.
