Thune said Democrats were “insistent on no Clarity vote” and that the bill would be a top priority when senators return to Washington on September 14.

The Clarity Act is one of the crypto industry’s most closely watched pieces of legislation. It would create a federal framework for digital asset markets and clarify how oversight is split between the Securities and Exchange Commission and the Commodity Futures Trading Commission.
