UBS Latest Price Target For SK Hynix Stock (SKHY)

The South Korean semiconductor giant SK Hynix (NASDAQ: SKHY) entered trading in the US stock market on July 10, 2026, at a launch price of $150 under the American Depositary Receipt (ADR). It had reached a high of $194 days after its launch, indicating it could surge in value similar to other semiconductor stocks. However, it entered the market at a time when the AI industry faced massive corrections. Its price fell to a low of $124 last week and experienced heightened volatility in the charts.

SK Hynix stock is now at $143 and is below its launch price in August. The equity is facing challenges as the semiconductor industry is seeing a shift in perception. Reports are out that NAND memory could ease the supply crunch in late 2026 and 2027, which could send SKHY, SanDisk, and Micron stocks, among others, into an unprecedented crash. Traders are both optimistic and fearful of taking an entry position, as the risk-to-reward ratio is narrowing.
