Bitcoin ETFs Reverse Course With $389.7M in Outflows; Fidelity Drives the Largest Outflows

Bitcoin ETFs recorded net outflows of $389.7 million during the week of August 10–14, reversing the inflow cycle that had characterized the preceding days.

Fidelity‘s FBTC fund led the outflows with $153.2 million in withdrawals, followed by Grayscale‘s GBTC with $88.3 million and BlackRock‘s IBIT with $78.9 millionARK 21Shares‘ ARKB shed another $70.3 million.

In terms of sessions, four out of five trading days closed in the red, with Monday posting the largest daily outflows for Bitcoin ETFs: $144.67 million. Only Tuesday offered a practically marginal reprieve, with net inflows of $4.89 million driven by $50.2 million injected into BlackRock’s Bitcoin ETF.

The macroeconomic context has weighed heavily on institutional appetite: July’s CPI rose 3.4% year-over-year, the PPI climbed 4.7%, and initial jobless claims came in at 209,000, above estimates.

ETH ETFs closed nearly flat, recording net outflows of just $2.26 million. By contrast, Solana funds attracted $10.26 million over the week, while products tied to XRP and HYPE gathered between $2.25 million and $2.74 million respectively, a sign that selective demand for alternative assets remained active even as Bitcoin absorbed the bulk of the selling pressure.
