Binance is preparing to apply for authorization from Britain’s Financial Conduct Authority as the crypto exchange seeks a stronger return to the UK five years after regulators restricted its local business. The FCA application window opens on September 30, 2026, and closes on February 28, 2027.
The planned application comes as BNB trades near $603, holding above a long-term support area after recovering from its 2026 lows. Binance will need fresh authorization under the Financial Services and Markets Act to conduct activities covered by Britain’s new crypto regime when it takes effect on October 25, 2027. Existing registrations will not automatically transfer into the new framework.
