Trump to Meet Coinbase, Ripple, and Chainlink CEOs at White House

President Donald Trump is expected to meet senior crypto executives at the White House on August 19, according to people briefed on the plans. The gathering comes as regulators prepare a separate public policy meeting and the Senate waits to take its next procedural step on the CLARITY Act.

CoinDesk reported that Coinbase CEO Brian Armstrong, Ripple CEO Brad Garlinghouse, and Chainlink Labs CEO Sergey Nazarov are among the executives expected in Washington. Representatives from a16z, Paradigm, and Kalshi are also expected to attend.

SEC Chair Paul Atkins and CFTC Chair Michael Selig are expected to join the discussion. However, the White House has not published a final attendee list or agenda, so the plans could change.

White House Meeting Precedes CFTC Policy Session

The meeting is expected to take place at the Eisenhower Executive Office Building. It would bring crypto executives and federal regulators together one day before the first public meeting of the CFTC’s Innovation Advisory Committee.
